Providing athletes with the opportunity to GIVE-BACK to their community
The True Sport Give-Back School Visits Program provides athletes with the opportunity to GIVE-BACK to their community by not only making guest appearances in schools but by also sharing their own personal sport experiences – or True Sport Story – with children and youth in the hope of motivating and inspiring them to get involved in sport or to remain involved in sport and physical activity for life.
Participating athletes will raise awareness of their own sport or team’s achievements, inspire children and youth, encourage active and healthy lifestyles and demonstrate how the True Sport Principles contribute to a positive environment in and out of sport.
