Δύο εβδομάδες μετά το ντεμπούτο της GIOS- DESEYR LEON KASTRO
Έγινε επίσημα η παρουσίαση στις 18 /02/2012 στις τοπικές αρχές, τα μέσα ενημέρωσης και τους οπαδούς στον πολυχωρο dom culture της πόλης του Leon Villablino με την υποστήριξη των χορηγων Provincial de León και της ομοσπονδίας ποδηλασίας Laciana .
Την τελετή παρακολούθησαν τοπικοί πολιτικοί δημοτικοί και νομαρχιακοί παράγοντες, ο επίσημος προσκεκλημένος και μέγας χορηγός Alferdo Gios όπως επίσης ο πρώην επαγγελματιας ποδηλατης Lale Cubino ποδηλάτης της διάσημης kelme με νίκες στο tour de france , vuelta espana , giro di italia και όλα αυτά με ποδήλατο Gios .
Η GIOS- DESEYR LEON KASTRO
Ξεκίνα την continental ομάδα , με μια ομάδα ανθρώπων που έχει την εμπειρία να προχωρήσει ένα τέτοιο πρόγραμμα . Με την υποστήριξη του Alfredo GIOS , που είναι ο κύριος χορηγός της ομάδας, η οποία περιλαμβάνει ένα πρόγραμμα με προοπτική ανάπτυξης τρία χρόνια.
ΔΗΛΩΣΗ ΤΟΥ Alfredo GIOS
Δεν σχεδίαζα να επενδύσω αυτή τη στιγμή σε μια ομάδα ποδηλασίας, αλλά με φίλους όπως ο Javi (Javier Fernandez-Soto, διευθυντής της ομάδας) να είναι τόσο ενθουσιασμένος για την δημιουργία της continental team , τα κίνητρα αυτά με ενθάρρυναν σε αυτή την

Το πρώτο έτος της χορηγίας θα είναι αναγνωριστικό και ελπίζουμε να γίνει μια ισχυρή ομάδα στις ακόλουθες σεζόν », λέει ο πρόεδρος της ιστορικής εταιρείας GIOS η οποία το 2013 θα γιορτάσει τα 65 χρόνια της ύπαρξής της.
Παρά την οικονομική κρίση, το δημοτικό Συμβούλιο του Leon θα ανανεώσει τη δέσμευσή της για την ποδηλασία και την υποστήριξη της GIOS- DESEYR LEON KASTRO όπως έχει ειπωθεί από τον υπεύθυνο σε θέματα αθλητισμού του δήμου Leon, “Braulio (Braulio
Φερνάντες, πρόεδρος της ομοσπονδίας Ποδηλασίας Laciana) έχουν εργαστεί πολύ σκληρά και θα προχωρήσουμε στην υποστήριξη της ομάδος . Είμαι βέβαιος ότι θα έχουν μεγάλη επιτυχία, διότι η ανθρώπινη ομάδα είναι εξαιρετική και, φυσικά, έχουν την υποστήριξη από το συμβούλιο. ”
Για τον Braulio Φερνάντες η δημιουργια της continental team GIOS- DESEYR LEON KASTRO « ηταν ένα όνειρο που έγινε
πραγματικότητα».
“Πάντα ήθελα να προχωρήσουμε με μια επαγγελματική ομάδα και σήμερα είναι μια πολύ ιδιαίτερη μέρα για μένα, την οικογένειά μου, και την ομοσπονδία ποδηλασίας Laciana . Χωρίς την υποστήριξη των χορηγών και των ιδρυμάτων που δεν θα είχε γίνει , οπότε είμαι
πολύ ευγνώμων. ”
Ο Δήμαρχος της Villablino Ana Isabel Duran υπογράμμισε επίσης το έργο της εδώ και πολλά χρόνια από τον Braulio Φερνάντες και υπογράμμισε την αξία της ομοσπονδία ποδηλασίας Laciana να θυμόμαστε ότι “η μόνη ομάδα στην Ισπανία που έχει τρεις ομάδες: η μία Τζούνιορ, μια Elite-U23 και Τώρα, μια επαγγελματική Continental. Ο Braulio Φερνάντεζ είναι ένας μεγάλος υποστηρικτής του ποδηλάτου και τόσο ο ίδιος όσο και οι ποδηλάτες της ομάδος έχουν της ευχές της Villablino για καλή τύχη στην προσπάθεια τους.
Εκτός από την εταιρεία ΠΟΔΗΛΑΤΩΝ GIOS την εταιρεία Deyser, η ομάδα χρηματοδοτείται από τον Provincial
de León, την εταιρεία αθλητικών ενδυμάτων ARTE DE TRANSFER , το νερό Carrizal , και η ομοσπονδία ποδηλασίας Laciana .

Στην παρουσίαση της ομάδος , από ελληνικής πλευράς παραβρεθήκαν ο Team manager της ομάδος Κουμπενακης Νικόλαος και οι αθλητές Απόστολος Μπουγλας , Γεώργιος Μπουγλας , Κωνσταντίνος Ευσταθίου, στο πλαίσιο της γνωριμίας με τους υπόλοιπους αθλητές της ομάδος κατά την διάρκεια της παραμονής μας την Ισπανία έγιναν δυο προπονήσεις στο προπονητικό
κέντρο της ομάδος στο Villablino που βρίσκεται σε υψόμετρο 1100 μέτρων , κατά την διάρκεια του 2012 επίλεκτοι έλληνες αθλητές θα προετοιμαστούν στο προπονητικό κέντρο της ομάδος στο Villablino και θα συμμετάσχουν σε αγώνες στην Ισπανία
Η επόμενη ημέρα της GIOS- DESEYR LEON KASTRO στις 27 -02 η ομάδα θα συγκεντρωθεί στη Βαλένθια και θα επικεντρωθεί στις 3-03 στο επίσημο ντεμπούτο στο Tour of Murcia 2.1 uci .
