Ολοι εμείς που δημιουργήσαμε το Smart Sport καταννοήσαμε ότι η εξέλιξη ενός αθλητή δεν εξαρτάται μόνο από ένα προπονητικό πρόγραμμα, ούτε μόνο από τις ώρες που θα αφιερώσει κάποιος στην προπόνηση, ούτε από το πόσο ταλαντούχος είναι.
Εμείς πιστεύουμε στην ολιστική προσέγγιση της προπονητικής που βασίζεται σε τρεις (3) σημαντικούς πυλώνες : Τεχνική, Φυσική κατάσταση και Νοητική προπόνηση.
Σημείο εκκίνησης για οποιαδήποτε αθλητική δραστηριότητα – και για οτιδήποτε στην ζωή- είναι κατά την δική μας γνώμη είναι η νοητική προσέγγιση.Χωρίς την σωστή νοητική προσέγγιση είναι αδύνατο να υπάρχει το σωστό αποτέλεσμα. Αθλητές που έχουν εντάξει στην προπονησή τους την Νοητική «εκγύμναση» παρουσιάζουν σηματικά πιο καλή τεχνική στο άθλημά τους και ταυτόγχρονα μπορούν να εκμεταλλευτούν καλύτερα την κάθε προπονητική μονάδα.
Ο δεύτερος πυλώνας της δικής μας προσέγγισης είναι η εμμονή στην εκμάθηση της σωστής τεχνικής. Χωρίς την σωστή τεχνική ακόμα και σε «ταλαντούχους» αθλητές όλο το «προπονητικό οικοδόμημα» χτίζεται σε πολύ εύθραυστα θεμέλια.
Η σωστή τεχνική είναι η απαραίτητη προυπόθεση για την εκπλήρωση των αθλητικών στόχων ενός αθλητή και γι’αυτό σε καθημερινή βάση με κάθε αθλητή που συνεργάζεται μαζί μας δουλεύουμε εντατικά στο προπονητικό χώρο…κάθε μέρα της εβδομάδας, 52 εβδομάδες τον χρόνο. Δυστυχώς η προπόνηση τεχνικής δεν είναι κάτι από το οποίο μπορούμε να απαλλαχθούμε κάποια στιγμή, εάν φυσικά επιθυμούμε να βελτιωνόμαστε και σεβόμαστε το σώμα μας.
Ο τρίτος πυλώνας είναι η βελτίωση της φυσικής κατάστασης σεβόμενοι τον χρόνο του κάθε αθλητή. Στόχος ένας και μοναδικός η καλύτερη δυνατή αξιοποίηση του κάθε λεπτού που ο αθλητής αφιερώνει στην προπόνηση.
