Πρόθεση
Οι κανονισμοί Τριάθλου έχουν ως σκοπό :
- Να δημιουργηθεί μία ατμόσφαιρα αθλητικής συμπεριφοράς, ισότητας, και fair-play.
- Να παρέχoυν ασφάλεια ασφάλεια και προστασία
- Να δίνουν έμφαση στην εφευρετικότητα και στην δεξιοτεχνία, χωρίς να περιορίζουν αδικαιολόγητα την ελευθερία δράσεως των αθλητών.
- Να τιμωρούν τους αθλητές οι οποίοι λαμβάνουν αδίκως κάποιο πλεονέκτημα.
- Να επιδοκιμάζει την αρχή ότι το τρίαθλο καθώς και το δίαθλο είναι ατομικά αθλήματα και παροτρύνει την ατομική απόδοση.
Γενικές οδηγίες
- Οι αθλητές πρέπει να επιδεικνύουν αθλητική συμπεριφορά, συνεχώς.
- Είναι υπεύθυνοι για την προσωπική τους ασφάλεια καθώς και την ασφάλεια των άλλων.
- Να κατανοήσουν τους κανονισμούς της ITU, τους οποίους πρέπει να τους δίνουν οι Εθνικές τους Ομοσπονδίες.
- Να υπακούουν τους κανονισμούς κίνησης και τις οδηγίες που δίνονται από τους κριτές.
- Να αντιμετωπίζει τους άλλους αθλητές, κριτές, εθελοντές, θεατές με σεβασμό και ευγένεια.
- Nα αποφεύγει την χρησιμοποίηση abusive γλώσσας
- Εάν παραβιάζει τους κανονισμούς εν γνώσει του, να αναφέρει την παράβαση σε κριτή.
- Να ενημερώνει τους κριτές μετά την αποχώρησή του από τον αγώνα.
Γενικές οδηγίες- συμβουλές προς τους κριτές
Είναι πολύ σημαντικό για τους κριτές :
- Να μάθουν καλά τους κανονισμούς του Τριάθλου.
- Να παρακολουθήσουν σεμινάρια κριτών.
- Να διευκρινίσουν τις τυχόν υπάρχουσες απορίες τους.
- Nα κατανοήσουν ότι η συμπεριφορά τους απέναντι στους αθλητές πρέπει να χαρακτηρίζεται από ευγένεια και όχι από αυταρχισμό. Το ύφος τους πρέπει να είναι προσεγμένο. Βοηθούν στην σωστή εξέλιξη του Αγώνα
- Η ασφάλεια των συμμετεχόντων είναι το πιο σημαντικό συστατικό της επιτυχίας των αγώνων.
- Πρέπει να τηρούν όσο περιγράφονται στο κομμάτι «πρόθεση του Αγώνα».
- Να παρακολουθήσουν αγώνες Τριάθλου.
- Nα κατανοήσουν τις βασικές αρχές διοργάνωσης Αγώνων Τριάθλου (αυτό μπορεί να πραγματοποιηθεί εάν μελετήσουν Triathlon event organisers manual)
- Να εμπλουτίζουν συνεχώς τις γνώσεις τους σχετικά με το Τρίαθλο.
- Να μάθουν να δρουν «pro-active», δηλαδή να προβλέπουν πότε μπορεί να συμβεί παραβίαση κανονισμού και να την αποτρέπουν.
- Να κατανοήσουν την διαφορά μεταξύ προειδοποίησης (warning), αποκλεισμού (disqualify), διαθεσιμότητας (suspension) και αποπομπής (Expulsion) αθλητή.
- Nα είναι δίκαιοι προς όλους τους αθλητές.
- Δεν έχουν δικαίωμα να προσφέρουν βοήθεια μεροληπτικά προς κάποιους αθλητές. Η τυχόν βοήθεια προς τους αθλητές πρέπει να είναι από πριν καθορισμένη (πχ. Βοήθεια εξόδου από την κολύμβηση σε περίπτωσης ύπαρξης υψηλού pontoon).
Προειδοποίηση
Δεν είναι απαραίτητο για έναν κριτή να δώσει προειδοποίηση (warning) πριν να δώσει μία πιο αυστηρή ποινή. Ο σκοπός της προειδοποίησης είναι να αφυπνήσει τον αθλητή για μία επικείμενη παραβίαση και να προτρέψει τους κριτές να έχουν μία pro-active συμπεριφορά.
Η προειδοποίηση μπορεί να δοθεί με τους εξής τρόπους :
- Σφυρίζοντας με σφυρίχτρα ή χρησιμοποιώντας κόρνα
- Επιδεικνύοντας κίτρινη κάρτα
- Καλώντας τον αριθμό του αθλητή και λέγοντας stop
Η διαδικασία που πρέπει να ακολουθείται κατά την διάρκεια της προειδοποίησης είναι η εξής : Δεχόμενος την κίτρινη κάρτα ο αθλητής θα σταματήσει και θα δεχτεί τις οδηγίες των κριτών. Εάν είναι πάνω στο ποδήλατο, ο αθλητής θα σταματήσει (με ασφαλή τρόπο) και αφού πατήσει με τα 2 του πόδια στο έδαφος (πρέπει να βρίσκονται και τα 2 πόδια από την μία πλευρά) θα σηκώσει το ποδήλατο στον αέρα. Τότε ο κριτής θα πει go και ο αθλητής θα συνεχίσει με ασφαλή τρόπο.
Αποκλεισμός
Ο αποκλεισμός είναι η ποινή που εφαρμόζεται σε περίπτωση παράβασης.
Ο αποκλεισμός μπορεί να δοθεί με τους εξής τρόπους :
- Σφυρίζοντας με σφυρίχτρα ή χρησιμοποιώντας κόρνα
- Επιδεικνύοντας κόκκινη κάρτα
- Καλώντας τον αριθμό του αθλητή.
Ο αθλητής μπορεί να συνεχίσει τον αγώνα σε περίπτωση που κριτής τον αποκλείσει. Σε αυτή την περίπτωση μπορεί να κάνει ένσταση σύμφωνα με όσο περιγράφονται στο αντίστοιχο manual.
Οι λόγοι για τους οποίους μπορεί να αποκλειστεί ένας αθλητής είναι οι εξής :
- Δεν ακολουθεί την καθορισμένη διαδρομή. Τέτοιες περιπτώσεις μπορεί να είναι :το λάθος πέρασμα στις σημαδούρες κολύμβησης, η λάθος ακολουθούμενη πορεία στην ποδηλασία και το τρέξιμο κ.τ.λ. Στην ίδια κατηγορία εντάσσομε και το γεγονός ότι κάποιοι αθλητές κάνουν λιγότερους γύρους από αυτούς που προβλέπεται.
- Χρησιμοποιεί μη κόσμια συμπεριφορά απέναντι στους κριτές.
- Επιδεικνύει αντιαθλητική συμπεριφορά : θα πρέπει να κατανοήσουμε ότι είναι κάτι πολύ γενικό και συνεπώς θα πρέπει να προσδιοριστεί με μεγαλύτερη ακρίβεια το τι σημαίνει αθλητική συμπεριφορά.
- Εμποδίζει, κωλύει τον δρόμο, φράζει, παρεμποδίζει ή παρεμβάλλει εμπόδια στην κίνηση των άλλων αθλητών (βλ.τράβηγμα ποδιών στην κολύμβηση, αγκωνιές, κλείσιμο στην ποδηλασία κ.τ.λ.)
- Η επαφή των αθλητών δεν συνιστά λόγο αποκλεισμού. Όταν κάποιοι αθλητές κινούνται σε περιορισμένο χώρο είναι λογικό να υπάρχει επαφή. Είναι λογικό κατά την διάρκεια της κολύμβησης να υπάρχει επαφή των αθλητών.
- Αποδοχή βοήθειας από οποιονδήποτε άλλο εκτός από κριτή ή αποδοχή βοήθειας από κριτές που δίνει πλεονέκτημα. Πρέπει να γίνει κατανοητό ότι δεν επιτρέπεται να λάβουν οι αθλητές αναψυκτικά ακόμα και από κριτές πέρα από τα καθορισμένα σημεία ανεφοδιασμού. Επίσης σε περίπτωση μηχανικής βλάβης στην ποδηλασία δεν επιτρέπεται ο αθλητής να λάβει βοήθεια παρά μόνο στα wheel stations.
- Άρνηση τήρησης των οδηγιών των κριτών.
- Εξοδος από την διαδρομή και είσοδος από διαφορετικό σημείο.
- Δεν φοράει τον αριθμό που του παρέχουν οι διοργανωτές. Πρέπει να διευκρινιστεί ότι δεν μπορεί ο αθλητής να σκίσει τον αριθμό, ούτε να τον έχει με τρόπο που δεν θα φαίνεται ο σπόνσορας.
- Αφήνει υλικό εκτεθειμένο μέσα στην διαδρομή υλικά όπως σαμπρέλες, παγούρια κ.τ.λ. Είναι κατανοητό ότι αυτά τα υλικά μπορούν να προκαλέσουν ατυχήματα σε άλλους αθλητές. Επίσης μία τέτοια συμπεριφορά θεωρείται κακή για το προφίλ του αθλήματος.
- Φοράει εξοπλισμό ο οποίος μπορεί να βλάψει τον ίδιο ή τους υπόλοιπους αθλητές, όπως κοσμήματα, ακουστικά.
- Χρησιμοποιεί εξοπλισμό που του δίνει πλεονέκτημα ή είναι επικίνδυνος για τους υπόλοιπους αθλητές Αφιερώνουμε ειδικό κεφάλαιο για το τι είναι επιτρεπόμενος και τι απαγορευμένος εξοπλισμός.
- Παραβιάζει τους κανόνες κυκλοφορίας Είναι σαφές ότι ο διοργανωτής καθώς και το άθλημα του Τριάθλου θα υποστεί ζημιά σε περίπτωση ατυχήματος αθλητή.
Διαθεσιμότητα
Σημαίνει ότι ο αθλητής δεν θα πάρει μέρος σε αγώνες της Ομοσπονδίας κατά την διάρκεια του διαστήματός της Διαθεσιμότητας.
Ενας αθλητής μπορεί να τεθεί σε διαθεσιμότητα μεταξύ άλλων και για τα εξής :
1. Αντιαθλητική συμπεριφορά
- Απάτη όπως : δηλώνοντας διαφορετική ηλικία από αυτή που είναι, λαμβάνοντας μέρος με διαφορετικό όνομα από το πραγματικό όνομα.
- Να συμμετέχει χωρίς να έχει το δικαίωμα.
- Επανειλημμένες παραβιάσεις των κανονισμών του Τριάθλου.
- Λήψη απαγορευμένων ουσιών.
Αποπομπή
Ενας αθλητής θα αποκλειστεί δια βίου από τους αγώνες της Παγκόσμιας Ομοσπονδίας σε περιπτώσεις όπως :
Δεύτερη φορά που συλλαμβάνεται να έχει κάνει χρήση απαγορευμένων ουσιών.
Για αντιαθλητική συμπεριφορά που σχετίζεται με βια…
Κολύμβηση
- Ενας αθλητής μπορεί να χρησιμοποιεί οποιοδήποτε στυλ κολύμβησης επιθυμεί.
- Δεν μπορεί να χρησιμοποιήσει οποιοδήποτε αντικείμενο, όπως σημαδούρα ή σκάφος για να κινηθεί μπροστά.
- Δεν μπορεί να χρησιμοποιήσει τον πυθμένα για να κινηθεί μπροστά.
- Δεν μπορεί να χρησιμοποιήσει απαγορευμένα υλικά (βλ.Εξοπλισμός)
Ποδηλασία
- Στην ποδηλασία ο αθλητής δεν επιτρέπεται να μπλοκάρει τους άλλους, να ποδηλατεί με γυμνό το πάνω μέρος του κορμού, να κινείται δίχως το ποδήλατο.
- Ο αθλητής πρέπει να υπακούει στους κανόνες κυκλοφορίας ή διαφορετικά σε αυτά που ορίζονται από τους κριτές. Οποιοσδήποτε κινείται με τρόπο που θέτει κίνδυνο σε εκείνον ή τον εαυτό του πρέπει να μετακινείται από τον αγώνα.
Τρέξιμο
- Ενας αθλητής μπορεί να περπατάει ή να τρέχει, όμως δεν μπορεί να μπουσουλάει ή να αγωνίζεται με ακάλυπτο το στήθος του.
- Ενας αθλητής θεωρείται ότι τερμάτισε την στιγμή που το στήθος του περάσει την νοητή γραμμή του τερματισμού.
Ζώνη τερματισμού
- Όλοι οι αθλητές πρέπει να έχουν δέσει τα κράνη τους την στιγμή που ξεκρεμούν τα ποδήλατά τους από την σχάρα εδάφους των ποδηλάτων (bike racks)
- Οι αθλητές μπορούν να χρησιμοποιήσουν μόνο την προσωπική τους σχάρα.
- Οι αθλητές πρέπει να προνοήσουν ώστε τα προσωπικά τους αντικείμενα παραμένουν στην προσωπική τους θέση στην Ζώνη Αλλαγής.
- Οι αθλητές δεν μπορούν να εμποδίζουν την κίνηση άλλων αθλητών στην Ζώνη Αλλαγής.
- Οι αθλητές δεν μπορούν να επεμβαίνουν όσον αφορά τον εξοπλισμό των άλλων αθλητών.
- Οι αθλητές πρέπει να ανεβαίνουν και να κατεβαίνουν στα ποδηλατά τους στις καθοριμένες περιοχές. Γενική αρχή είναι ότι δεν μπορούν να είναι ανεβασμένοι στα ποδήλατά τους στην ζώνη αλλαγής. Απαγορεύεται η ποδηλάτηση εντός της Ζώνης αλλαγής
- Απαγορεύεται ο γυμνισμός.
