«Α Sport Made in Heaven”

Τη Δευτέρα 22/3 Μαρτίου (21:00) συνεχίζουμε τους διαδικτυακούς κοινωνικούς διαλόγους. Αυτή τη Δευτέρα θα συζητήσουμε με τη βοήθεια σχετικά με το ρόλο των διαφόρων οχημάτων επικοινωνίας (Communication vehicles) στην ανάπτυξη του τριάθλου αλλά και των αθλημάτων αντοχής (τρέξιμο, κολύμβηση open water).

Τίτλος της συνάντησης είναι «Sport made in Heaven”, τίτλος ενός  από ένα από τα πιο διάσημα άρθρα/ τίτλους της Κοινωνιολογίας του αθλητισμού.

Καλεσμένοι άνθρωποι που έχουν συνεισφέρει τα μέγιστα ώστε τα αθλήματα του δρόμου (road events) να προσελκύσουν περισσότερους αθλητές και αθλούμενους αλλά και γίνουν πιο ελκυστικά σε Χορηγούς & Μέσα Επικοινωνίας

Ο ρόλος του ειδικού τύπου, του Internet, της τηλεόρασης, του ραδιοφώνoυ στην ανάπτυξη του τριάθλου, του μαραθωνίου και των αθλημάτων ανοχής γενικότερα.

“Sport in Society” Dialogues

Διάλογοι για τον ρόλο του αθλητισμού στην Κοινωνία και για Κοινωνικά θέματα έντονου ενδιαφέροντος που υπάρχουν στον αθλητισμό.

O αθλητισμός δεν είναι και δεν μπορεί να είναι ξεκομμένος από την κοινωνία. Είναι σημαντικό μέρος αυτής, δημιουργός και αποδέκτης κοινωνικών δρώμενων. Το αθλητικό πλαίσιο δεν είναι ένα αποστειρωμένο περιβάλλον αλλά ένα «κομμάτι» μέρος του κοινωνικού περιβάλλοντος.

Αγαπάμε τον Ελληνικό Αθλητισμό και πιστεύουμε ότι οποιαδήποτε σημαντική αλλαγή θα υπάρξει μέσα από τους ανθρώπους της πρώτης γραμμής : αθλητές, γονείς, διοργανωτές, δημοσιογράφους, εταιρείες αθλητικών υπηρεσιών.

Για να πάρουμε μία γεύση της συζήτησης επικοινωνήσαμε με τον κ.Πολλιά (Runner Magazine), κ. Πλακίδα (Athletics Magazine), κ. Κυρίκο (Over FM) και την κα.Μπιρλιράκη, διευθύντρια της Ευζήν που έχει τα δικαιώματα του Ironman Greece και τους ζητήσαμε τη γνώμη τους σε μία σειρά θεμάτων που αφορούν την ανάπτυξη των αθλημάτων αντοχής.

Νίκος Πολλιάς

O κ. Πολιάς, Εκδότης του Runner Magazine, μας εξηγεί τη σημασία του ειδικού τύπου τόσο στην αύξηση, διατήρηση και κυρίως την εκπαίδευση των αθλουμένων.

Νίκος Πολλιάς : Ο ειδικός τύπος είχε ανέκαθεν μία ξεχωριστή θέση ανάμεσα στα διάφορα έντυπα, καθώς ασχολείται με δραστηριότητες που αφορούν ένα συγκεκριμένο κοινό. Το τρέξιμο, από τη θέση της αθλητικής δραστηριότητας “για λίγους” που κατείχε μέχρι και πριν το 2005, άρχισε να εξαπλώνεται και πλέον έχει βρει τη θέση του και στην ελληνική κοινωνία καθώς είναι δεκάδες χιλιάδες αυτοί που το έχουν εντάξει στη ζωή τους. Το Runner Magazine, συνέβαλε σημαντικά σε αυτό, καθώς λειτούργησε ως ένα κοινό σημείο αναφοράς ενημερώνοντας με αξιόπιστο τρόπο τους αναγνώστες του σχετικά με θέματα που αφορούν την προπόνηση, τη διατήρηση της υγείας και την αποφυγή τραυματισμών, τη διατροφή, τον απαραίτητο εξοπλισμό και πολλά άλλα. 17 χρόνια μετά είμαστε χαρούμενοι που πετύχαμε τον στόχο μας και συνεχίζουμε να “τρέχουμε” δίπλα σε κάθε δρομέα!

Πόσο εύκολο είναι να διατηρηθεί ένα έντυπο ειδικού τύπου σε υψηλό επίπεδο στην εποχή του covid όπου δεν έχουμε αγώνες;

Νίκος Πολλιάς : Ούτως ή άλλως η έκδοση ενός περιοδικού ειδικού τύπου είναι δύσκολο εγχείρημα. Χρειάζεται πολύ δουλειά και υποστήριξη. Την προηγούμενη χρονιά, τα πράγματα έγιναν ακόμα πιο δύσκολα καθώς η αγρά δέχτηκε ισχυρό πλήγμα και λόγω της έλλειψης αγώνων, πολλοί δρομείς έχασαν τον προσανατολισμό και τον στόχο τους με αποτέλεσμα να μειωθεί το ενδιαφέρον τους. Η κατάσταση αυτή ήταν ένα σοκ για όλους μας, όμως γρήγορα ανασυνταχθήκαμε, συνεχίσαμε την έκδοση των τευχών μας με κάποια καθυστέρηση βέβαια και προσπαθήσαμε να κρατήσουμε ψηλά το ηθικό των αναγνωστών μας προσφέροντας τους τόσο χρηστικό όσο και εμπνευστικό περιεχόμενο!

Ο κ.Πολιάς δίνει τη δική του πρόβλεψη για την επόμενη μέρα (μετά covid εποχή) για το δρομικό κίνημα, τα αθλήματα αντοχής και για τον ερασιτεχνικό αθλητισμό γενικότερα. Πόσο εύκολο είναι να επιστρέψουμε στην pro-covid εποχή τόσο όσο αφορά τον αριθμό των αγώνων, την ποιότητα διοργάνωσης, τον αριθμό των συμμετοχών κ.λπ.

Νίκος Πολλιάς Νομίζω ότι κανείς δεν μπορεί να δώσει με σιγουριά μία απάντηση για το πότε θα γυρίσουμε στην κανονικότητα. Εμείς πέρυσι τέτοια εποχή είχαμε προετοιμαστεί για το σενάριο ότι θα ξεκινήσει και πάλι η αγωνιστική δραστηριότητα τον φετινό Σεπτέμβριο! Δυστυχώς, φαίνεται ότι επιβεβαιωνόμαστε. Θα υπάρχουν σημαντικές διαφοροποιήσεις από χώρα σε χώρα σχετικά με την αγωνιστική δραστηριότητα. Είδαμε την προηγούμενη Κυριακή στην Ναγκόγια της Ιαπωνίας να πραγματοποιείται μαραθώνιος με τη συμμετοχή 4.700 γυναικών! Σε άλλες χώρες πάλι, τα πράγματα είναι σε χειρότερη μοίρα αφού ούτε τον Σεπτέμβριο θα είναι σε θέση να διοργανώσουν μαζικούς αγώνες. Το μόνο σίγουρο είναι ότι θα βιώσουμε μία τεράστια αύξηση στον αριθμό συμμετοχών, καθώς όλο αυτό το διάστημα η διάθεσή του κόσμου να συμμετάσχει έχει συμπιεστεί σαν ένα ελατήριο, συσσωρεύοντας τεράστια ενέργεια, η οποία όταν επιστρέψουμε στην κανονικότητα θα πρέπει να βρει διέξοδο. Θα πρέπει η πολιτεία να επανεξετάσει τα μέτρα αντιμετώπισης να είναι πιο προσεκτική στις επιλογές της και εμείς από την πλευρά μας, παρά την κόπωση που έχει επέλθει, να συνεχίσουμε να τηρούμε υπεύθυνη στάση απέναντι στους εαυτούς μας, αλλά και τους γύρω μας.

Λευτέρης Πλακίδας

Ο Λευτέρης Πλακίδας, διευθυντής σύνταξης στο Athletics Magazine μας εξηγεί με ποιο τρόπο τα αθλήματα αντοχής (τρέξιμο αντοχής, μαραθώνιος, τρίαθλο, κολύμβηση Open water) μπορούν να είναι πιο ελκυστικά στους Έλληνες και έτσι να αυξηθεί περαιτέρω  αλλά και να διατηρηθεί ο αριθμός των αθλούμενων σε αυτά.

Λευτέρης Πλακίδας : Η αυξητική τάση στα αθλήματα αντοχής και αέροβιας ικανότητας, θα συνεχιστεί και θα πολλαπλασιαστεί. Είναι συνδυασμός της ανάγκης για άσκηση στο φυσικό περιβάλλον, στην κοινωνικότητα που διαθέτουν, στη μόδα που έχει επικρατήσει και στην επιλογή των γυναικών να το βάλουν στη ζωή τους (ειδικά το τρέξιμο και μετά το κολύμπι).

Ο κ. Πλακίδας  μας εξηγεί πως το Internet μπορεί να βοηθήσει  αθλητές, διοργανωτές αλλά και σωματεία να προσελκύσουν χορηγούς, το ενδιαφέρον του τύπου καθώς να υποκαταστήσει τη δυνατότητα πρόσβασης στην τηλεόραση.

Λευτέρης Πλακίδας : Η επικοινωνία και η σωστή προβολή και δημοσιότητα είναι το μόνο που μπορεί να κρατήσει το ενδιαφέρον των χορηγών για να χρηματοδοτούν τις διοργανώσεις και τους αθλητές. Να δώσει τη δυνατότητα στα σωματεία να βρίσκουν πόρους για να συντηρούν προπονητές υψηλής κατάρτισης και δυνατοτήτων γιατί εκεί βρίσκεται το μυστικό της διάδοσης και της ανάπτυξης του αθλητισμού. Αν δεν έχεις σωστούς δασκάλους, δε θα βγάλεις ποτέ καλούς μαθητές.

Τα Μίντια δε δίνουν μεγάλο βάρος σε διοργανώσεις που αναπτύσσουν τον θεματικό τουρισμό, που δίνουν λόγο σε αθλητές που δεν έχουν βήμα. Λίγα παραδοσιακά Μέσα και πολλά social media φτιάχνουν την εικόνα για όλους.

Βάσια Μπιρλιράκη

Η κα. Βάσια Μπιρλιράκη, Διευθύντρια της ΕΥ ΖΗΝ Greece A.E., διοργανώτριας του IRONMAN 70.3 Costa Navarino, μας εξηγεί πως μία διοργάνωση όπως αυτή βοηθάει στην προώθηση του Τριάθλου και κατ’ επέκταση στην αύξηση του αριθμού των αθλούμενων που ασχολούνται με το Τρίαθλο.

Βάσια Μπριρλιράκη: Το IRONMAN είναι ένας αγώνας παγκοσμίου φήμης και με τον ερχομό του στην Ελλάδα την άνοιξη του 2019, ήρθε να προσδώσει υπεραξία στις ήδη ενδιαφέρουσες διοργανώσεις αλλά και στο ίδιο το αγώνισμα του τριάθλου. Μέχρι πρόσφατα, η τριαθλητική κοινότητα ήταν αρκετά μικρή. Τα τελευταία χρόνια παρατηρούμε ραγδαία αύξηση των αθλητών που είτε μεταπηδούν από άλλα αθλήματα στο τρίαθλο, είτε ξεκινούν με αυτό.

Οι άνθρωποι από τη φύση μας θέτουμε στόχους, είτε μικρούς καθημερινούς, είτε πιο μεγάλους και μακροπρόθεσμους. Έτσι καταφέρνουμε να σηκωνόμαστε κάθε πρωί από το κρεβάτι μας και να τους κυνηγάμε, προσδοκώντας στην εσωτερική μας ικανοποίηση της επίτευξης! Ένας αγώνας, και ειδικότερα ένας αγώνας  IRONMAN, μπορεί να χρειάζεται τη συστηματική άσκηση και προετοιμασία του σώματος, αλλά πολύ περισσότερο χρειάζεται την προετοιμασία του μυαλού και της καρδιάς, ώστε να καταφέρεις να περάσεις τη γραμμή του τερματισμού.

Στατιστικά έχουμε παρατηρήσει τα τελευταία χρόνια αύξηση των αθλούμενων που ζητούν υποστήριξη από επαγγελματίες προπονητές του τριάθλου. Η αύξηση των αθλητών έχει επηρεάσει την αγοραστική ζήτηση σε εξοπλισμό που συνοδεύει το τρίαθλο ή τα επιμέρους αθλήματα αυτού. Και όλα αυτά συντελούν στην αύξηση της αναγνωρισημότητα του αθλήματος.

Τι οχήματα επικοινωνίας (τηλεόραση, Internet, γραπτός τύπος, social media,…) χρησιμοποιεί η Ironman Greece για να προωθήσει το event; Ποια οχήματα θα έχουν την μεγαλύτερη συνεισφορά για τα αθλητικά  event στην Ελλάδα; Πόσο εύκολο είναι ένα web tv  livestreaming για τις διοργανώσεις που λαμβάνουν χώρα στην Ελλάδα;

Βάσια Μπιρλιράκη:  Η επικοινωνία και το γεγονός είναι πράγματα ταυτόσημα. Όσο μεγαλύτερη αποδοχή και ανάγκη για θέαση έχει ένα γεγονός τόσο μεγαλύτερη η ανάγκη της δημοσιογραφίας να το καλύψει και να το προβάλει. Σαν IRONMAN Greece χρησιμοποιούμε όλα τα κανάλια επικοινωνίας με ιδιαίτερη έμφαση στα Social τα οποία ολοένα και κερδίζουν έδαφος, όμως η δημοσιογραφική κάλυψη και ματιά είναι πάντοτε απαραίτητη ώστε να αποδώσει την ένταση, το συναίσθημα και τη μαγεία ενός τέτοιου αγώνα και να τη μεταφέρει στους αναγνώστες. Η τηλεοπτική κάλυψη παγκοσμίως ενός αγώνα τριάθλου μεγάλης απόστασης, δεν είναι εύκολο θέμα καθώς το κοινό είναι αρκετά μικρό. Στόχος μας στα επόμενα χρόνια είναι να δημιουργήσουμε στον τηλεθεατή την ενσυναίσθηση να ταυτιστεί με τον αθλητή την ώρα που παρακολουθεί τον αγώνα.

Αντώνης Κυρίκος

Eίναι η τηλεόραση το μέσο με τη μεγαλύτερη δύναμη για να μπορέσει  ένα άθλημα ή μία διοργάνωση πιο δημοφιλή/-ης; Χωρίς την τηλεόραση μπορεί ή όχι ένα άθλημα να αυξήσει σημαντικά τα ποσοστά δημοτικότητάς του;

Αντώνης Κυρίκος : Η δύναμη της εικόνας είναι αδιαμφισβήτητη. Η τηλεόραση και τα digital media είναι  τα Μέσα που έχουν τη δυνατότητα να απογειώσουν κάθε άθλημα και διοργάνωση. Για αυτό οι διοργανωτές πρέπει να επενδύουν στην δημιουργία οπτικοακουστικού υλικού και στην στοχευμένη παρουσία μέσα από τα μέσα κοινωνικής δικτύωσης. Πάντα σε συνεργασία με τους ειδικευμένους επαγγελματίες. Η δυσκολία σε διοργανώσεις multisports events είναι να καταφέρουν να πείσουν τους υπεύθυνους των τηλεοπτικών εκπομπών για την αξία του προϊόντος και του υλικού. Δεν είναι μόνο ένα αθλητικό γεγονός αλλά και βασικός πυλώνας του αθλητικού τουρισμού. Το ζητούμενο δεν είναι αν η τηλεόραση έχει τη μεγαλύτερη δύναμη, αλλά το πώς οι διοργανώσεις θα κερδίσουν μέσα σε αυτό το Μέσο τη θέση και το χρόνο που τους αξίζει.

 Ποιος ο ρόλος του ραδιοφώνου στη διάδοση ενός αθλήματος όπως το τρίαθλο, ο μαραθώνιος, κλπ;

Αντώνης Κυρίκος : Κάθε μέσο ενημέρωσης και ψυχαγωγίας που συνταξιδεύει μαζί μας σε όλες τις δραστηριότητες της ζωής μας έχει τη δική του δυναμική. Ένα από αυτά είναι και το ραδιόφωνο. Πρόκειται για ένα μέσο που γεμίζει την καθημερινότητα με ιστορίες και μας ταξιδεύει παντού. Αυτές τις ιστορίες και τους πρωταγωνιστές της μπορεί να προβάλλει το ραδιόφωνο. Μπορείς να βρίσκεται παντού, και μαζί του όλοι οι ακροατές. Στην εκκίνηση, στον τερματισμό, στην μετάδοση της αύρας μιας αθλητικής γιορτής.

Η επένδυση σε ένα γραφείο τύπου είναι πολυτέλεια ή αναγκαία συνθήκη για μία διοργάνωση, ομάδα, ομοσπονδία;

Αντώνης Κυρίκος :  Η επένδυση σε ένα γραφείο τύπου δεν είναι ούτε πολυτέλεια, ούτε αναγκαία συνθήκη. Είναι επένδυση. Είναι η ομάδα που θα διαδώσει παντού το μήνυμα. Που θα γίνει η γέφυρα με τα ΜΜΕ ώστε να προβληθεί το προϊόν με τον καλύτερο δυνατό τρόπο και παντού. Η σύνταξη και διασπορά των δελτίων τύπου, η οργανωμένες παρουσιάσεις σε εκπροσώπους των ΜΜΕ, η οργάνωση ταξιδιών και φιλοξενιών, η επιλογή και παρουσίαση όμορφων ιστοριών και ξεχωριστών αθλητών που αποτελούν πρεσβευτές ενός αθλήματος αποτελούν βασικές λειτουργίες για να αυξηθεί η δημοφιλία μιας διοργάνωσης. Παράλληλα το γραφείο τύπου ενισχύει τη δυνατότητα εύρεσης χορηγών καθώς και την επαφή με την τοπική κοινωνία όπου γίνονται οι αγώνες όπως και με τους εκπροσώπους της τοπικής αυτοδιοίκησης. Για αθλήματα όπως το τρίαθλο είναι μεγαλύτερη η ανάγκη συνεργατών επικοινωνίας για να γίνει εφικτή η διείσδυση του αθλήματος σε Μέσα που δεν αφιερώνουν πολύ χρόνο και χώρο σε τέτοιου είδους διοργανώσεις.
