Προπονητικό Camp Τριάθλου

Ορεινή Κορινθία Παρασκευή 26 μέχρι και Κυριακή 28 Ιουνίου 2020

Το τριήμερο Παρασκευή 26 μέχρι και Κυριακή 28 Ιουνίου η κορυφαία σε οργάνωση και επιτυχίες ελληνική ομάδα τριάθλου «Athens Triathlon Team» θα βρεθούν στην ορεινή Κορινθία (Γκούρα) για ένα πολύ πλούσιο προπονητικό τριήμερο camp προετοιμασίας. Περισσότεροι από 25 αθλητές & αθλήτριες καθώς και οι συνοδοί και οι οικογενειές  τους θα διαμείνουν στην Γκούρα και με σημείο αναφοράς τη λίμνη Δόξα θα προπονηθούν και θα προετοιμαστούν για τους αγώνες Τριάθλου (κολύμβηση, ποδηλασία, τρέξιμο) του φθινοπώρου.

Μερικές μέρες μετά την άρση του lockdown για τις μονάδες εστίασης και φιλοξενίας που είχε πολύ σημαντικές αρνητικές συνέπειες για περιοχή το camp έρχεται να ενισχύσει σημαντικά την τοπική κοινωνία.

Το Τρίαθλο (ολυμπιακό άθλημα από το 2000) είναι από τα ταχύτερα αναπτυσσόμενα αθλήματα τόσο στην Ελλάδα όσο και στο δυτικό κόσμο.

Η Ομάδα Athens Triathlon Team είναι η μοναδική ομάδα Τριάθλου στην Ελλάδα που λειτουργεί με τα πιο σύγχρονα Ευρωπαικά μοντέλα λειτουργίας και μέλη της είναι έλληνες και ευρωπαίοι τριαθλητές.

Το μοναδικής ομορφιάς φυσικό περιβάλλον  (με την τεχνητή λίμνη της Δόξας να κλέβει τις εντυπώσεις), η χαμηλή κυκλοφορία αυτοκινήτων στους δρόμους (απαραίτητο στοιχείο για προπόνηση ποδηλασίας με ασφάλεια) και κυρίως η ύπαρξη του Κέντρου Υγείας είναι οι βασικοί λόγοι της επιλογής της περιοχής για αυτό το πρώτο πρώτο προπονητικό camp της ομάδας μετά την περίοδο της πανδημίας.

O προπονητής (head coach) της ομάδας και πρωταθλητής Τριάθλου Γιάννης Ψαρέλης μας είπε σχετικά :

«Εχουμε αθλητικο-κεντρική προπονητική φιλοσοφία και το μότο μας είναι «Δεν αφήνουμε Τίποτα στην Τύχη» (Nothing το chance). Αυτό αφορά οτιδήποτε σχεδιάζουμε είτε αφορά τις καθημερινές προπονήσεις μας στην Αθήνα όσο και τα προπονητικά camp στην περιφέρεια. Οτι κάνουμε θέλουμε να είναι υψηλού επιπέδου ακολουθώντας τα πρότυπα των καλύτερων ευρωπαικών ομάδων τριάθλου. Πάνω από όλα επιθυμούμε συνεχώς να βελτιωνόμαστε πάντοτε τόσο σε δομές όσο και προσφερόμενες υπηρεσίες ώστε οι αθλητές και οι αθλούμενοι μας να απολαμβάνουν τις καλύτερες δυνατές και ασφαλείς συνθήκες προπόνησης. Εχουμε εργαστεί για αρκετές εβδομάδες και έχουμε επισκεφθεί πολλές φορές την περιοχή ώστε να σχεδιάσουμε με κάθε λεπτομέρεια το camp.

Σε συνέχεια του παραπάνω και καθώς η ασφάλεια αποτελεί το σημείο αναφοράς μας οφείλω να σταθώ στη σημασία του Κέντρου Υγείας της περιοχής ως προαπαιτούμενο για ένα camp Τριάθλου (κολύμβηση, ποδηλασία, τρέξιμο) – όπου πάντοτε υπάρχει ο κίνδυνος ενός ποδηλατικού ατυχήματος – και να ευχαριστήσω εκ των προτέρων το Διευθυντή του ΚΥ και το ιατρικό προσωπικό για την εξαιρετική διάθεση και συμβολή στο σχεδιασμό του camp.»

Ο πρωταθλητής Τριάθλου στην απόσταση sprint Παναγιώτης Δημόπουλος και μέλος της προπονητικής ομάδας  και της τεχνικής επιτροπής της Athens Triathlon Team Παναγιώτης Δημόπουλος μας δήλωσε σχετικά : «Λόγω έλλειψης αγώνων ειναι έντονη η επιθυμία μας να βρεθούμε σε ένα αμιγώς τριαθλητικό περιβάλλον κοντά στη φύση. Είναι μια ευχάριστη απόδραση από την ρουτίνα της πόλης παρέα με φίλους αθλητές. Είναι μια ευκαιρία για όλους τους τριαθλητές  για να επικεντρωθούν υπό την καθοδήγηση των έμπειρων και με διεθνείς πιστοποιήσεις προπονητών στη βελτίωση τους και στους στόχους της αγωνιστικής περιόδου.»

Ο Ισπανός Τριαθλητής Andreu Torregrosa θα συμετέχει στο camp καθώς – και θα προπονείται με την Athens Triatlon Team μέχρι και τα τέλη Ιουλίου- ανέφερε με ενθουσιασμό τα παρακάτω αναφορικά με τη συμμετοχή του στο camp: « Ειλικρινά ενθουσιασμένος & ανυπομονώ να συμμετέχω στο προπονητικό camp της Athens Triathlon Team. Μετά το lockdown λόγω Covid-19 δεν μπορώ να σκεφτώ ένα καλύτερο τρόπο να επιταχυνθεί η επανάκτηση της αθλητικής μας φυσικής κατάστασης. Εχω προπονηθεί και έχω συμμετέχει σε αγώνες σε διάφορες χώρες του κόσμου (Ισπανία, ΗΠΑ, Ουρουγουάη, Ελβετία κ.λπ.) και είναι υπέροχο να επιστρέφω στην Ελλάδα και να προπονούμαι με την ομάδα Τριάθλου της Αθήνας (Athens Triathlon Team). Η Λίμνη Δόξα δείχνει να είναι μία υπέροχη τοποθεσία όπου θα μπορέσουμε να εστιάσουμε στην προπόνησή μας. Τέλος θα ήθελα να ευχαριστήσω τον coach Ψαρέλης και την ομάδα που εδώ και 7 χρόνια μου επιτρέπουν να προπονούμαι μαζί τους όταν μπορώ να έρχομαι στην Ελλάδα».

Ο Πάνος Σαρίδης, αθλητής και μέλος της τεχνικής επιτροπής της ομάδας Athens Triathlon Team μας δήλωσε σχετικά:

«Το δεύτερο προπονητικό camp της ομάδας μας για το 2020 γίνεται σε μια υπέροχη περιοχή την ορεινή Κορινθια. Επιλέξαμε τη Λίμνη Δόξα καθώς θεωρούμε ότι είναι ιδανικός καλοκαιρινός προορισμός για προετοιμασία / προπόνηση τριάθλου και οχι μόνο. Η περιοχή είναι ιδανική για προπονητικό camp, ιδίως το καλοκαίρι όπου νωρίς το πρωί και αργά το απόγευμα έχουμε δροσιά και γενικότερα καιρικές συνθήκες που πληρούν τις προπονητικές απαιτήσεις των αθλημάτων αντοχής. Εχουμε εξαιρετική ποιότητα αέρα (χωρίς πρωτογενείς ή δευτερογενείς ρύπους) και επίσης εξαιρετική ποιότητα νερού στη λίμνη για κολύμβηση.

Μακάρι το παράδειγμα της συστηματικής διοργάνωσης καλά οργανωμένων προπονητικών camp στην περιφέρεια να το ακολουθήσουν και άλλες ομάδες τριάθλου ώστε να ενισχύσουν την θέση και τη φήμη της χώρα μας στο ανταγωνιστικό χάρτη του αθλητικού τουρισμού.

Το camp έχει σχεδιασθεί έτσι ώστε να μπορούν οι αθλητές και αθλήτριες να έρθουν με τις οικογενειές τους. Με αυτό τον τρόπο και με το ζωντανό παράδειγμα τα παιδιά μας θα βιώσουν την αξία της άθλησης στη ζωή, την υγεία και τη διάθεση δίνοντας το μήνυμα οτι ο αθλητισμός είναι τρόπος ζωής και ψυχαγωγίας.”

Η Ασημίνα Σηλαίου, πρώην πρωταθλήτρια και διοργανωτής του αγώνα ορεινού τρεξίματος στη ζήρεια τόνισε τη σημασία του αθλητικού τουρισμού για την ενίσχυση της οικονομικής ζωής της περιοχής και μας ανέφερε σχετικά : “H σημασία του αθλητικού τουρισμού ως βασικού πυλώνα της ανάπτυξης της ζήρειας γίνεται ακόμα μία έντονη και επιτακτική στις μέρες μας και πρέπει να προσεχθεί από όλους που αγαπάμε και νοιαζόμαστε για την περιοχή. Θα θέλαμε να καλοσωρίσουμε την ομάδα Τριάθλου Athens Triathlon Team και τους ευχόμαστε να εκπληρώσουν τους προπονητικούς στόχους του camp”
