Ποδηλατικός εξοπλισμός : Cervelo P2
Εισαγωγή
Μία από τις πιο συνηθισμένες ερωτήσεις που λαμβάνουμε από αναγνώστες της ιστοσελίδας είναι ποιο ποδήλατο θεωρούμε ως το πλέον κατάλληλο για κάποιον που θέλει να ασχοληθεί σοβαρά με το Τρίαθλο αλλά δεν θέλει να ξοδέψει πολλά χρήματα.
Ένα από τα ποδήλατα που προτείνουμε, που για αρκετούς είναι η καλύτερη λύση, είναι η το P2 της Cervelo το οποίο είναι το πιο δημοφιλές ποδήλατο Τριάθλου σε όλο τον κόσμο.
Επικοινωνήσαμε με τον επίσημο αντιπρόσωπο της Cervelo στην Ελλάδα (“Το Ποδήλατο – www.topoilato.gr” στον Αλιμο) και τους ζητήσαμε να έχουμε ένα P2 για να κάνουμε ένα Test Ride.
Το ποδήλατο που λάβαμε είναι το μοντέλο του 2013. Οι μηχανικοί του Έλληνα αντιπροσώπου έκαναν εξαιρετικό bike fitting και έτσι δεν χρειάστηκε να κάνουμε καμία ρύθμιση στο ποδήλατο.
Cervelo P2 : Value for money
Το ποδήλατο χαρακτηρίζεται από τα εξής:
- Υψηλή ακαμψία ακόμα και με τις απλές ρόδες (Shimano R500) με τις οποίες το αγοράζει κάποιος.
- Μεγάλη ευκολία στον χειρισμό. Ακόμα και να μην έχει κάποιος εξοικειωθεί με τα ποδήλατα τριάθλου δεν θα αντιμετωπίσει καμία δυσκολία.
- Αεροδυναμική. Αυτό είναι άλλωστε και το σήμα κατατεθέν της Cervelo.
Πέρα από το πολύ ωραίο πλαίσιο το ποδήλατο που λάβαμε εμείς έχει εξαιρετικής ποιότητας περιφερειακά – παρότι είναι η πιο φθηνή έκδοση- που συνήθως κάποιος τα συναντάει σε πολύ πιο ακριβά ποδήλατα:
- Τιμόνι T2 wing της profile και αερόμπαρες T4+ της ίδιας εταιρείας που κατά την γνώμη μας έχει τις πιο εργονομικές αερόμπαρες για τριαθλητές.
- Δισκοβραχίονες και φύλλα FSA όπως και οι δαγκάνες των φρένων.

Test Ride
To ποδήλατο το χρησιμοποιήσαμε για μία εβδομάδα κάνοντας κομμάτια σε υψηλή ταχύτητα μέσα στο παλιό αεροδρόμιο στο Ελληνικό.
Το ποδήλατο έχει ντίζα σέλας που επιτρέπει να καθίσουμε στις 75 ή στις 78/79 μοίρες. Εμείς επιλέξαμε την πιο επιθετική γεωμετρία ώστε να μπορούμε να χρησιμοποιήσουμε ακόμα περισσότερο τους γλουτιαίους. Ακόμα και σε αυτή την θέση δεν νιώσαμε αδυναμία χειρισμού του ποδηλάτου.
Ο χρήστης μπορεί να επιλέξει την σειρά ανταλλακτικών που επιθυμεί. Εμείς δοκιμάσαμε το μοντέλο με την σειρά 105 και δεν είχαμε κανένα πρόβλημα με τις αλλαγές των ταχυτήτων.
Μπροστά το ποδήλατο είχε compact δίσκους 50-34 κάτι που διευκολύνει κάποιον που θέλει να κάνει χειμερινή προπόνηση με αυτό ή να συμμετέχει σε αγώνες με ανηφόρες. Για ποιους αθλητές ίσως χρειαστεί να κάνουν αλλαγή και να οδηγηθούν σε 53 Χ 39 τουλάχιστον στην αγωνιστική φάση.
Συνοπτικά
Είναι μία από τις καλύτερες – εάν όχι η καλύτερη- επιλογή για κάποιον που επιθυμεί να ασχοληθεί συστηματικά με το Τρίαθλο, ανεξάρτητα με την απόσταση στην οποία θέλει να εστιάσει. Εμείς δοκιμάσαμε το μοντέλο του 2013 και σύμφωνα με αυτά που αναφέρει η εταιρεία το μοντέλο έχει σημαντικές βελτιώσεις.
Ακαμψία, αεροδυναμική και ευκολία στον χειρισμό είναι τα κυρίαρχα χαρακτηριστικά και σε αυτά θα μπορούσαμε να προσθέσουμε την μεγάλη ευκολία για γρήγορες προσαρμογές τόσο στις ανάγκες της κάθε φάσης της προπόνησης και του κάθε αγώνα όσο και στα προσωπικά σωματομετρικά χαρακτηριστικά του κάθε ποδηλάτη/ τριαθλητή.
Η τιμή του για την ποιότητα του είναι εξαιρετικά χαμηλή και ίσως είναι το συγκεκριμένο στοιχείο που έχει κάνει το ποδήλατο ως το πιο δημοφιλές στον κόσμο του Τριάθλου.
