Katusha Team presents three new riders

Russian WorldTour Katusha Team announces about three newcomers for the season of 2014. Katusha signed the contract with 3 Russian riders: Egor Silin (25 years old), Alexander Rybakov (25 years old) and Pavel Kochetkov (27 years old).

Egor Silin comes from Astana Team. In 2013 Silin was 4th in the 6th stage of Criterium du Dauphine, 12th at Vuelta a Murcia and 14th in general classification of Volta a Catalunya.

Alexander Rybakov comes from Rusvelo procontinental team. His best results in 2013: 1st place at Memorial of Oleg Dyachenko, 4th place in prologue of Volta a Portugal and 9th place in road race of Russian National Championships.

Pavel Kochetkov comes from Rusvelo procontinental team. His best results in 2013 are 4th place in road race of Russian National Championships, 4th place in prologue of Volta a Portugal and 6th place in the 1st stage of Giro del Trentino.

– Katusha Team as well as any other WorldTour team can’t be a mono-national structure, however, the Russian part of the project has to improve continuously. All three newcomers have a great potential and can reach some good results. I am sure they will strengthen our team, – said general manager of Katusha Team Viacheslav EKIMOV.
