- Που θα βρω να κάνω τρέξιμο;
- Πως θα κάνω προπόνηση στην θάλασσα με τους βοριάδες ;
Ο Αύγουστος είναι ο μήνας που η πλειοψηφία των Ελλήνων πάει διακοπές. Οι διακοπές για αρκετούς αθλητές (που έχουν αγωνιστικές υποχρεώσεις το φθινόπωρο) όμως είναι και κάτι που τους αγχώνει καθώς φοβούνται ότι θα μείνουν πίσω στην προπόνηση ή θα μπορέσουν να ταιριάξουν το προπονητικό τους πρόγραμμα με το πρόγραμμα της παρέας ή της οικογενειάς τους με την οποία θα πάνε διακοπές.
Ο καλός σχεδιασμός σε συνεργασία με τον προπονητή μας είναι το πιο σημαντικό σημείο ώστε και να μπορέσουμε να κάνουμε προπόνηση χωρίς όμως να χάσουμε οι διακοπές το πραγματικό τους νόημα.
Με απλά λόγια προτείνουμε τα παρακάτω απλά σημεία αναφορικά με την προπόνηση στις διακοπές μας :
- Προσαρμογή του προπονητικού μας προγράμματος. Το προπονητικό μας πρόγραμμα πρέπει να είναι σχεδιασμένο έτσι ώστε την εβδομάδα/ -ες των διακοπών να μην έχουμε πολύωρες προπονήσεις.
- «Ερευνα γραφείου» (Desktop research) Πριν φτάσουμε στο μέρος των διακοπών είναι χρήσιμο να έχουμε κάνει έρευνα και να μάθουμε για τις εναλλακτικές τοποθεσίες και εγκαταστάσεις για προπόνηση με το ίδιο τρόπο που ενημέρωνόμαστε για τις εναλλακτικές λύσεις σε ξενοδοχεία, ειστιατόρια, τόπους διασκέδασης κ.λπ. Υπάρχει γήπεδο στίβου, διαδρομές τρεξίματος κ.λπ.
- Επιλογή ποδηλάτου. Ενημερωνόμαστε για τα υψομετρικά, την ποιότητα της ασφάλτου, την ποιότητα και το πλάτος των δρόμων για να αποφασίσουμε τί είδους ποδήλατο θα πάρουμε μαζί μας. Στις περισσότερες των περιπτώσεων το ποδήλατο χρονομέτρου είναι απαγορευτικό τόσο από θέμα ασφάλειας όσο και από θέμα σχέσεων ταχυτήτων, ιδίως εάν σκεφτεί κάποιος ότι οι δρόμοι στα ελληνικά νησία και στην επαρχία δεν τηρούν τα βασικά πρωτόκολλα σχεδιασμού δρόμων.
- Πρόγνωση καιρού. Ενημερωνόμαστε για τις μετεωρολογικές συνθήκες της περιοχής καθώς και για τις περιοχές όπου το κύμα δεν είναι απαγορευτικό για προπόνηση κολύμβησης. Με τα μελτέμια του Αυγούστου οι πρωινές και οι απογευματινές ώρες είναι οι κατάλληλες
- Ιδιαίτεροι κίνδυνοι. Ενημερωνόμαστε για θαλάσσια ρεύματα και για τυχόν δηλητηριώδή ή επικίνδυνους ζωντανούς οργανισμούς.
- Διατροφή. Είναι σημαντικό να βρούμε την χρυσή ισορροπία ώστε και να μην παχύνουμε στις διακοπές αλλά και ούτε να απέχουμε από τις «παρείστικα/ οικογενειακά» γεύματα στα γραφικά ειστιατόρια της περιοχής. Προσπαθούμε να αποφύγουμε τις μεγάλες ποσότητες και να περισορίσουμε κάποια τρόφιμα και ποτά όπως αναψυκτικά, αλκολούχα ποτά, ψωμί κ.λπ.
- Φορητό φαρμακείο. Είναι απαραίτητο να έχουμε μαζί μας τα απαραίτητα φάρμακα για να αντιμετωπίσουμε τσιμπήματα από έντομα, μέδουσες, ερπετά κ.λπ.
