Την Παρασκευή (13-11-2015) κατατέθηκαν στην Ομοσπονδία Ποδηλασίας οι πρώτες έγγραφες-αιτήσεις Σωματείων-Μελών με τις οποίες τέθηκε θέμα διενέργειας εκλογών.
Συγκεκριμένα 22 εκ των 43 με δικαίωμα ψήφου ποδηλατικά σωματεία, κάλεσαν την διοίκηση Τερζή να προχωρήσει σε ορισμό Γενικής Συνέλευσης, προκειμένου το σύνολο των σωματείων να αποφανθεί αν επιθυμεί την συνέχιση της διαχειριστικής, άτολμης, μεροληπτικής και αδιαφανούς πολιτικής που εφαρμόζει η υπάρχουσα Διοίκηση ή την αλλαγή πορείας και φιλοσοφίας, με γνώμονα την ανάπτυξη, την διαφάνεια, την αξιοκρατία και την ισονομία όπως χαρακτηριστικά απαιτεί πλέον σύσσωμη η αντιπολίτευση.
Συγκεκριμένα η πλειοψηφία των σωματείων, συμπεριλαμβανομένων των πρωτοπόρων και ιστορικότερων του αθλήματος, τάχθηκε υπέρ της προσφυγής στις κάλπες, ύστερα από την διαπίστωση ότι στη Γενική Συνέλευση της 31ης Οκτωβρίου 2015 δεν κατέστη δυνατή η υπερψήφιση του προϋπολογισμού της Ομοσπονδίας Ποδηλασίας από την πλειοψηφία των Σωματείων-Μελών της, ενώ επιπροσθέτως στο πρόσφατο Διοικητικό Συμβούλιο της 6ης Νοεμβρίου 2015 υπέβαλαν τις παραιτήσεις τους οι Γενικός και Ειδικός Γραμματέας της Ομοσπονδίας κ.κ. Λιατσής και Σπανόπουλος αντίστοιχα, επικαλούμενοι προβλήματα δυσλειτουργίας ακόμη και μεταξύ των μελών της Εκτελεστικής Επιτροπής. Η αντικατάσταση των παραιτηθέντων μελών και ειδικότερα του Γενικού Γραμματέα από παράγοντα που διαμένει στην περιφέρεια (Κρήτη), κατά πολλούς θεωρήθηκε εμπαιγμός και άλλη μια κίνηση τακτικής του υπό αμφισβήτηση Προέδρου, που κάθε άλλο παρά εξομάλυνε τις αντιδράσεις.
Τον λόγο τώρα έχει το Διοικητικό Συμβούλιο και ο Πρόεδρος, ο οποίος σύμφωνα με το Καταστατικό της Ομοσπονδίας Ποδηλασίας, υποχρεούται σε σύγκληση Γενικής Συνέλευσης το αργότερο εντός 20 ημερών από την κατάθεση των αιτημάτων. Εξελίξεις αναμένονται λοιπόν στον ποδηλατικό χώρο και μάλιστα σε κρίσιμη χρονικά στιγμή, καθώς βρισκόμαστε σε περίοδο προετοιμασίας της επόμενης αγωνιστικής περιόδου και ήδη διανύουμε Ολυμπιακή χρονιά, γεγονός που απαιτεί άμεσες ενέργειες ώστε να αποφευχθεί η παρεμπόδιση του προγράμματος των Διεθνών μας που είτε έχουν ήδη προκριθεί (Βολικάκης-Πίστα) είτε διεκδικούν με μεγάλες αξιώσεις την πρόκρισή τους στην Ολυμπιάδα του Ρίο (Ταμουρίδης-Δρόμος και Ηλίας-Αντωνιάδης ΜΤΒ). Κατωτέρω παρατίθενται τα πρώτα εικοσιδύο σωματεία που κατέθεσαν αίτημα εκλογών, ενώ την επόμενη εβδομάδα θα ακολουθήσουν και άλλα:
