Με 45 μέρες τιμωρίας ο Χαλκιόπουλος.

Πηγή & Αναδημοσίευση : Εφημερίδα «ΠΕΛΟΠΟΝΝΗΣΟΣ» (www.pelop.gr) Προκάλεσε αίσθηση και σε κάθε περίπτωση, την αγανάκτηση του ίδιου του αθλητή, η τιμωρία του και ο τρόπος που έγινε από την Ποδηλατική Ομοσπονδία. Αναφερόμαστε στον διεθνή πρωταθλητή του Ποδηλατικού Ομίλου Πατρών Παύλο Χαλκιόπουλο ο οποίος τιμωρήθηκε με αποκλεισμό από κάθε αγωνιστική δραστηριότητα για 45 μέρες, σύμφωνα με ρεπορτάζ του Τάσσου Σταθόπουλου στην εφημερίδα “Πελοπόννησος” (Παρασκευή 27/9).
Αιτία το γεγονός ότι προέβη, κατά την ΕΟΠ, σε απαράδεκτους χαρακτηρισμούς κατά μέλους του Δ.Σ. της ΕΟΠ, μετά από έναν επεισοδιακό αγώνα που είχε γίνει στην Κρήτη και ο οποίος είχε προκαλέσει την αντίδραση πολλών. Σημειώνεται πως τα σχόλια του Χαλκιόπουλου είχαν γίνει με ανάρτηση στο facebook, παρόλα αυτά κρίθηκε από την ΕΟΠ πως ήταν παραβατική συμπεριφορά.
Εκείνο που προκάλεσε την έντονη αντίδραση του Παύλου Χαλκιόπουλου ήταν το γεγονός πως δεν ενημερώθηκε για την απόφαση αυτή! Οπως ο ίδιος καταγγέλει την περασμένη εβδομάδα πήγε στην Θεσσαλονίκη για να αγωνιστεί και μόλις μία ώρα πριν την έναρξη του αγώνα ενημερώθηκε από τον αλυτάρχη για το ότι δεν είχε δικαίωμα συμμετοχής στον αγώνα λόγω τιμωρίας…
Η απόφαση λήθηκε από την ΕΟΠ στις 20/9 και στον αθλητή κοινοποιήθηκε στις 23/9, ενώ ο αγώνας έγινε στις 21/9. Ο ΠΟΠ αναμένεται να καταγγείλει την αυθαίρετη αυτή απόφαση των διοργανωτών που παρέβησαν τον κανονισμό και δεν επέτρεψαν τη συμμετοχή αθλητού, χωρίς να έχουν κανένα σχετικό έγγραφο προς τούτο.
Ο Παύλος Χαλκιόπουλος, που ως εκ τούτου δεν έχει δικαίωμα συμμετοχής στο επικείμενο πανελλήνιο πρωτάθλημα Ομνιουμ, αναμένεται να προσφύγει στο ΑΣΕΑΔ.
Θυμίζουμε πως στην πειθαρχική επιτροπή της Ελληνικής Ομοσπονδίας Ποδηλασίας παραπέμφθηκαν πέντε αθλητές και προπονητές μετά τον αγώνα που διεξήχθη στην Κρήτη, τα «Καζαντζάκεια».
Συγκεκριμένα, οι Παναγιώτης Χατζάκης, Παύλος Χαλκιόπουλος και Γιώργος Δάντος, καθώς επίσης οι προπονητές Βασίλης Αναστόπουλος και Γιώργος Μανιάτης. Ο Χατζάκης παραπέμφθηκε γιατί δεν ήθελε να ανέβει στο βάθρο των νικητών, όπως ισχυρίζεται ότι πληροφορήθηκε ο αντιπρόεδρος της ΕΟΠ Νώντας Σαρρής, ο Χαλκιόπουλος για τα σχόλια στο facebook, ο Αναστόπουλος επειδή τον ειρωνεύτηκε, ενώ ο Δάντος γιατί έτρεξε πανευρωπαϊκό ΜΤΒ Marathon με τα χρώματα της Εθνικής και ο Μανιάτης γιατί διαπληκτίστηκε με το μέλος του δ.σ. της ΕΟΠ, Δημήτρη Σπανόπουλο.
* Για την ίδια υπόθεση τιμωρήθηκε και ο πρώην προπονητής του ΠΟΠ και Ομοσπονδιακός Τεχνικός Βασίλης Αναστόπουλος με 7μηνο αποκλεισμό: «Δεν περίμενα ποτέ από κατήγορος να βρεθώ κατηγορούμενος για κάτι που δεν έκανα. Οσοι ήταν παρόντες στο περιστατικό, ή παρακολούθησαν το σχετικό βίντεο, μπορούν να βγάλουν τα συμπεράσματά τους», ήταν το σχόλιό του.
